International House Darwin
There is accommodation available on the CDU Casuarina campus at International House Darwin (http://ihd.cdu.edu.au/).
Note: Book early to avoid missing out, since the conference will be held within the teaching semester.
Options:
Student accommodation available for conference participants:
Single standard room (communal bathroom and kitchen). Rooms in designated quiet building available on request. $50.00 per night.
Single standard room with shared ensuite. King single bed, shared ensuite between two rooms. (Single occupancy only, but can request to ‘neighbour’ so as to share ensuite with someone you know at the conference where available.) Rooms in designated quite building available on request. $60.00 per night.
Other accommodation:

Transport to and from CDU:
A shuttle bus is available between CDU and the Waterfront precinct. Also, public bus transportation is available from the CDU bus stop through to the city centre (Bus no. 4) which stops at key tourist areas along the route.
Shops and other transport is only a short walk from the University.
Waterfront District:
There are various accommodation options at the Waterfront District with shuttle buses and public transport available between the Waterfront district and CDU.
Accommodation at the Waterfront includes Vibe Hotel, Darwin Waterfront Apartments, Adina Apartment Hotel.
City Centre:
There is a range of options in the main city centre, on Mitchell street including backpackers such as Darwin YHA Melaleuca on Mitchell and more expensive options such as the Hilton. The Esplanade:
also has accommodation options including Double Tree by Hilton or the Mantra on the Esplanade. Public transport available via the above public transport system.
